“My heart is with everyone who has suffered damage from this week’s devastating storms, and my sincere gratitude goes out to all the first responders whose heroic work ensured all residents’ safety. Today, the unity and resolve of these communities shined through as neighbors and volunteers were out in full force to lend a helping hand. Seeing the impact firsthand, there will be much work ahead to rebuild in the wake of this flooding – and I will do all I can to support the recovery and help make these communities whole again,” said Senator Van Hollen.
