Van Hollen Brings Up War Powers Resolution to Permanently End Trump’s Illegal Iran War

U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) brings up his war powers resolution for a vote on the Senate floor. The Senator’s resolution would require an end to the illegal Iran war that President Trump launched over 140 days ago. Prior to the vote, Senator Van Hollen spoke on the Senate floor urging his colleagues to support the war powers resolution blocking President Trump from using U.S. armed forces to engage in hostilities within or against Iran without approval from Congress.
