As Democrats in Congress have been traveling to every corner of their states, they've been listening to the American people—and we’re all hearing the same thing: Too many Americans are feeling squeezed between flat or sinking paychecks on the one hand, and rising costs and prices on the other. But it’s is not enough to simply analyze or empathize with these challenges—we must have a plan to do something about it. That’s why House Democrats and Senate Democrats are laying out an economic plan that will give Americans A Better Deal and a fair shake is this supposed to say “share”. This plan includes specific ways we can work together to reduce the skyrocketing cost of prescription drugs, which have become unaffordable for too many of my constituents and working people across the country. I sat down with my friend and leader on this issue, Senator Al Franken to talk about a way forward to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
