Van Hollen Announce $2.3 Million for Army Corps of Engineers Projects in Western Maryland
Today U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $2.3 million in federal funding for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects in Western Maryland as part of the Fiscal Year 2017 Omnibus Funding bill.
"This funding will support projects that boost Western Maryland's economy and keep the environment and recreational opportunities thriving," said Senator Van Hollen. "As we work to modernize our infrastructure and create jobs in Maryland, I will keep fighting for investments in Western Maryland."
